Our cake selection is available for pre-orde WEDNESDAY to SATURDAY between 10am and 3 pm, please select your pickup date before heading to checkout. All round cakes are 3 layers and all square or slab cakes are 2 layers. Sizes are and serving suggestions are guidelines only. Larger slab cakes and pricing for big groups are available upon request. At this time we cannot accommodate custom requests for writing or color theme

Our cake selection is available for pre-order for pickup between WEDNESDAY to SATURDAY 10am to 3 pm.
All round cakes are 3 layers and all square or slab cakes are 2 layers. Our chocolate sponge and vanilla sponge are both available as a gluten free cake, you will be able to select this option as a modification.
Sizes are and serving suggestions are guidelines only.

At this time we cannot accommodate custom requests for writing or color themed decorations.

We require 72 hours notice to prepare your order. Please ensure the date for your order is correct, once the order is placed you will receive and order confirmation and we will create your cake accordingly - we cannot refund or hold your cake if the date is incorrect and we do not hear from you once the order is placed.

Cake Cutting Guidelines

To help you choose the right size cake for your function - check out the following guide.  Whether its a quick work gathering or a birthday for a loved one we can help you decide how best to cut your cake to get the most out of it. 

 

These guidelines are suggestions only and are based on 1 inch by 1 inch portions - but please remember that the round cakes are 3 layers tall so you end up with a fairly generous portion if cut accordingly.

baker: This is a new role on our team and the right candidate will need to be flexible and patient as we develop the day to day job.  We are ideally looking for a baker with a few years professional experience in a commercial setting (sorry, home bakers or those who simply love to bake but who have no experience cannot be considered) or 1-3 years in a Baking/Pastry University program.
The Job:  The job requires an early riser, ideally shift starting at 4:30 - 5 am and someone comfortable operating a commercial deck over and managing the morning bread bake off.  This person ideally would also support our bakers by scaling the next days ingredients, scaling and prepping inclusions for our sourdoughs, preparing fillings for roles and knots, be able to mix, scale and shape bread and have knowledge working with laminated doughs is a bonus.  You must be precise and willing to work cleanly in an open kitchen environment.  
Hours: Hours for this position are Tuesday to Saturday 4:30 am - 12:30 pm 
Requirements: 1-3 years in a professional baking/pastry program, or equivalent experience in a similar environment.  If you have experience with sourdough and with laminated doughs all the better! Must be comfortable with bread/deck ovens, spiral dough mixers, planetary mixers, combi ovens.  Food Safe Certification.
Wages: $21 /hr plus tips minimum.
